The Gay Blades are Clark Westfield on lead vocals and guitar with Puppy Mills banging away on the drums. The duo plays modern day glam rock with nods and moves that pay homage to the forefathers of the genre - Freddie Mercury and David Bowie. The Gay Blades live in a weird world that isn't punk but isn't the MTV commercial rotation world either. They could possibly reside in both and maybe all points inbetween. I think that's what makes them a pretty great band...that type of versatility that simply ends up producing really good songs.
