Arizona piles the harmonies high on top of distorted and reverberating textures and deftly switches music gears without warning within song arrangements. The band's sound seems to spring from jammy roots and grows up paths influenced by classic and fantasy rock sounds from the 70s. In 2008, the band released their most recent long-player, Glowing Bird. The album was recorded in their new city-of-residence, (moving from Brooklyn) Ashville, North Carolina at Echo Mountain Recording Studio. The band joined The Laundromatinee at Savvy Salon to share some live cuts from it.
