Ben Sollee + Craig Wagner at Waterfront Park, Louisville, KY
Featured videographer : Keith Robbins

Keith Robbins is a video producer specializing in video for social media marketing based in Louisville, Kentucky.  He has produced video content for 21c Museum Hotel, Speed Art Museum, IdeaFestival, Proof Restaurant and Forecastle Music Festival among others.  In addition to producing the video content, Keith promotes and distributes it through social media channels and search engine optimization.

Keith tells us that live music is one of his passions.  He has recorded New Mastersounds, Catfish Haven, Dr. Dog, VHS or Beta, Tortoise, Band of Horses, GZA, Cass McCombsBen Sollee, Margot & the Nuclear So & So’s, Martin Sexton, Noizejoi, Snowden, Pomegranates, Starfucker, Protomen, the Photographic, Groovatron, Early Day Miners…. …and 2/3 of a Disco Biscuit show before he was interrupted by the tour manager.  (Must have forgotten to get permission for that one.  Oops!)

His current projects include video production for New Mastersounds, Contemporary Art Center (CAC) in Cincinnati and Switchflops sandals.

The following are videos of nine complete songs (of the ten performed) by Ben Sollee & Craig Wagner at Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY for WFPK’s Waterfront Wednesday series.

About that day, Keith says, "Ben’s talent and songwriting justify his fast-growing fan base.  Ben easily receives more comments per video (all praise) in my YouTube account than any other band or artist.  On the other hand, you could have easily left with the opinion that Craig Wagner was the real treat that night.  Outside of a few stumbles (he does not play with Ben regularly), his performance was just sick and very complementary to Ben’s cello and songs.  We Googled Craig and learned that he is regarded as one of the greatest living guitarists in the world."
