We've raved about Jookabox plenty of times over at MOKB.  We've hosted numerous MOKB Presents shows featuring the project, and David Adamson, then known at Grampall Jookabox, even stopped through for a session in the pre-Laundromatinee.com days.  Needless to say, we're fans.

This year, the project took a turn for the better.  More complete ideas and concepts were put to tape.  The lineup was expanded to four to created more depth and sound in the live setting.  All of it came together in a great new album, and an exciting free remix album.

Jookabox combines rock, blues, soul, hip-hop, psych and more.  Everything and the kitchen sink is melded, looped, blended, stirred and baked.  Some might claim too much, or too weird, but the result is fun.  And fun goes a long way in my book.
